Since launching his very creative "King of the Road Radio Show" in 1996, Jim King, a.k.a. Jim King of the Road, has won many fans and has received numerous honors from his peers in the broadcasting industry... Jim is a 2009 NLG (Numismatic Literary Guild) "Best Television Report" Award Winner. King is also a 1999 National Association of Broadcasters Marconi Award Finalist; and he was named 1997 Oklahoma Association of Broadcasters "Radio Personality of the Year." Jim, a 26-year broadcast veteran, participates in dozens of community events per year gathering interesting and entertaining videotape for his TV and radio shows.
